We had the pleasure to attend Reconnect15, the Selligent Customer & Partner day focusing on digital engagement, last Tuesday 10 march in the Chassé Theater in Breda. After taking a good coffee and having a chat with some of the first guests arrived, “the show” started in a theater hall.
André Lejeune started with his usual CEO speech, then Hanne Van Briel gave a very nice product tour of the V6. As developers we were especially interested by the new HTML editor, improved with functionalities such as syntax highlighting, automatic closing tags or collapse possibilities. They also added a contextual online help with enhanced examples and best practices. See also our previous blog article about new Selligent V6.
After that came this impeccably dressed lad called Guido Thys with his very particular conclusion. According to him, “Digital marketing has no future”. Two of his quotes sounded very interesting:
- “All good solutions are simple solutions”, a whole concept familiar to Business Elements. We always create simple interfaces for a great user experience.
- “Combining operational experience and customer intimacy”. And that’s the way we like it! We act as a member of your team and deliver to you the expertise we acquired on many projects.
After a healthy lunch we had the chance to discover 2 customer projects realized with Selligent. On one hand the Neckermann 35y campaign presented by Ine Laleman with who we already had the pleasure to work, on the other hand Stefaan Claes who explained how Kinepolis tend to reach its goal to be the best marketer!
To end the day Jan Teerlinck animated a panel discussion with digital engagement experts from many horizons, different sectors and also other countries like U.K.
We wouldn’t forget to mention the presence of Mier! Many people in the audience knew the duo of comics from the event in Eindhoven 2 years ago. Once again they hosted the day with their impressive impro skills and dispensed great humour.
