Faces of Tech: Tracy Nganzi Ekuku, Business consultant for Microsoft Dynamics 365

Tracy Nganzi Ekuku

In the next instalment of our Faces of Tech series, we are delighted to introduce Tracy Nganzi Ekuku, our business consultant for Microsoft Dynamics 365. Combining her background as an Economics and Management student at Université catholique de Louvain with a sharp analytical mindset, Tracy bridges the gap between complex business structures and digital solutions. Drawing on early experience with enterprise-scale digital transformations, she leverages structured teamwork and strategic prioritisation to break down complex IT challenges into manageable, user-focused steps.

What moment or experience significantly changed how you approach your work today?

Starting my first large-scale project as a young graduate really changed how I see work today. I understood that growth comes through collaboration, curiosity, and learning progressively from the people around me. Having a supportive team also helped me gain confidence and become more proactive in the way I work.

What is one project, initiative, or problem you worked on that you consider meaningful and why?

I contributed to workshops, demos, and process mapping, and it was rewarding to see how our work could improve users’ daily processes. It also helped me grow professionally by becoming more comfortable interacting with stakeholders and understanding business needs.

When facing complexity, how do you move forward?

When things become complex, I try to break everything down into smaller steps and focus on priorities first. I also ask questions and validate information with the team instead of staying blocked on my own. Staying organized helps me move forward progressively without feeling overwhelmed.

Can you describe a situation where you had to make an important decision with limited information? What guided you?

I once had to decide whether to proceed with changes in a system environment while I was not fully sure it was the correct one. Instead of rushing, I chose to pause and confirm the information with the team to avoid potential issues. What guided me was responsibility and the importance of minimizing risks.

What do your teams rely on you for?

I think my teams rely on me for being organized and reliable. I often help structure information, summarize discussions, and keep track of actions after meetings. I also try to maintain a positive and collaborative mindset.

What is one principle or belief that consistently guides how you deliver your work?

One principle that guides me is that continuous learning is essential. I believe being open to feedback, staying curious, and adapting quickly are very important, especially early in a career. I also value clear communication because it helps teams work more efficiently together.
